I think the best way to judge my experience is to review my portfolio. But if you must know the work history of
Kathy Savino here it is.
Freelance Copywriter/2001-present
- Create new product launch materials for national association in the beef industry. Materials include sellsheets, posters, online training manual and promotional ideas.
- Handle overflow work from various agencies and clients in both B2B and consumer arenas.
- Concept, write and manage marketing programs for Roeser’s Bakery and Thatcher Oaks Awnings. Materials include logo design, website, corporate identity, sales brochures, print ads, radio spots, door hangers, trade show themes and direct mail.
- Implemented a brand extension of Thatcher Oaks called Thatcher Retractables, which included a logo, corporate identity and marketing materials to support current brand and ensure continuity.
- Wrote press releases, direct mail, print ads and customer loyalty program for the MO-JOE’s Buffalo Wing Joint franchise (headquarters in Atlanta, GA).

- Created brand identities for consumer and B2B clients ranging from high-tech to mattress manufacturers to gaming companies.
- Writing included trade, collateral, POP, direct mail, outdoor and Internet.
- Brainstormed with artists on concepts; presented creative to clients.

- Wrote and presented all creative for new business presentations in Corporate Communications Department.
- Work included newspaper and trade ad campaign, websites and CD ROMs, as well as employee retention and referral programs.
- Directed artists, led brainstorming sessions, serviced creative accounts.
- Created a direct mail piece resulting in a 7% response.
- Received a BMA award for an interactive CD ROM mailer.
